Arboriculture

Our specialist Arboriculture operatives are fully qualified to NPTC standards and have great experience of working with individual trees, hedgerows and shrubs, together with working in large countryside and conservation areas.

We can liaise with local planning authorities regarding tree preservation orders (TPO’s), conservation consent and felling licences.

We possess excellent knowledge of all legislation associated with the protection of species, flora and fauna.  We can source ecological surveys and advice whilst always following our biodiversity and biosecurity policies and procedures.  These are updated regularly and follow government legislation and advice from experts.

Services include coppicing, formative/remedial and restorative pruning, sanitation and selective pruning, crown reduction/reshaping, crown lifting and crown thinning, tree felling, tree safety surveys, removing deceased or weakened branches, use of restraint systems and support, stump management and site clearance.

We take care of the rooting environment in the form of mulching, use of aeration and decompaction measures, soil replacement and removal, improving irrigation and drainage together with treating nutrient deficiency using fertilisers.

“I just wanted to email you to say how impressed I have been with the work that has been carried out on the trees which border my property in Bingham Substation.

Russell and his colleague have done a fantastic job with the trees, and I have been so impressed by their professionalism, politeness and courtesy. Please pass on my thanks to them both.”
